4wd and reverse

I havent tried but is it possible to select reverse and 4wd and if so will it do any damage

err, you do have reverse sometimes when offroading!



Not really sure what your getting at, but 2wd, 4wd, reverse or forwards, it all works together.

what i was asking was . If i was stuck off road and the only way out was backwards is it o.k. to select 4wd when in reverse. Please excuse my lack of knowledge as i am new to this and i dont want to break anything

the answer to that is yes

4WD will work in any gear including reverse. Here's a tip though. Don't wait untill you are stuck. Always select 4WD beforehand. If you are in 2WD, get stuck , it may be difficult to engage 4WD because of the way the ADD works.
