I did the mod, I can't say it did much (if anything) to the mpg but there's very little smoke and it sails through the mot.

Hi all..
I reckon i must be being thick! The photo you have shown is quite dissimilar to my 2.4 engine bay.... I have cable tied the one i think it is, but there is another pipe with the middle barrel bit right next to it. The one I have blocked, goes straight to a relay... Any more clues?

That's what it looks like then. That unit is just at the side of your fuel filter on the bulkhead.
