  • idler arm torque settings

    Hi

    Anyone know what the torque settings are for the 3 idler arm bolts and the balljoint with castleated nut are please?

    Done the search but cant find the settings!

    Don't know about torques on those, I did them tight!!.........two grunts
    Did I mention I have a BLUE one

      142Nm for the mounting bolts and nuts.
      78Nm for the ball joint end.

            Thanks guys

            The 2 grunt method works well especially when the f***** balljoint wont split
            pickle fork dont work!! put back together and buy a draper type splitter ........It's too small ......thinks, i know, i'll grind a tiny bit out so It will fit over the end of the arm.....not too much or It will bend!!!........It's f*** In bent!!!

            Put all back together for second time and gonna get a commercial type joint splitter!!!

            Mind you I'm getting kind of quick at It now.

              Basically its whats known as the FT torque setting
              If it aint broke dont fix it
