Hi All,
Just had a great 2 weeks around Cornwall
in my new '93 SSR-X. No problems other than the beast's thirst!
Only one small glitch though. Whilst full to the brim with camping kit and about to drive from Cornwall to Nottingham, when I came to raise the rear window it got about half-way then stopped and beeped at me. I lowered it again whereupon it failed completely to raise and beeped again.
I opened the tailgate and checked that nothing was in the way and then shut it to discover that the window worked perfectly!! Mysterious!
Anyone have any idea what the beeper is beeping about? Does it indicate the window sticking in a bit of out of place rubber seal or is something mroe serious likely to be worng with it?
If it does prove to be up a certain creek then is there a way to close it manually rather than leave it open awaiting the attentions of a mechanic (or more likely a thief)?
