  • Sticky Brake Pedal (Auto)

Recently I've experienced a sticky brake pedal when applying pressure to the foot brake. The travel seems very small, although the brakes do work, but not as effectively. It requires a bit of extra pressure to get the pedal travel as it 'spose to be. This is a very intermittant occurance. Any ideas?
Got an itch, might need to scratch it soon.

    Is your handbrake releasing properly?

As far as I know, I don't always use it when parking up.

Then it could be a vacuum problem. Is your drivebelts correctly tensioned?
Make sure there no loose or disconnected rubber pipes around the servo/vacuum unit and accociated valves on the drivers side inner wing and bulkhead.

          interesting.

i've been having the same symptoms, for a while now.

          pads and shoes changed,
          fluid changed,

will be interesting to see if we can clear this one up
