  • dash lights advice

    recently purchased a surf,its been standing a while,blood sweat tears got the beast running,all the dash lights stay on and there is a left your key in noise coming from the dash.any cures or remedies gracouisly accepted.thanks shaun

    the dash lights stay on in first position....ding ding keys in noise is when door is open.....
    poss dodgy door switch??

      All warning lights on either with or without accompaning buzzer indicates an alternator problem, either damaged/loose connections or a faulty unit.
      It will also occur if you submerge the alternator.

        dash lights

        put a meter on batteries only getting 12.5 volts,any otherway of testing,how much would a new one be,can anyone recommend somewhere to buy one from.thanks shaun.thanks for the adice.
