How many miles can be put on the 2.4 litre td engine before any major repairs are made. Asumming it was properly broken in and well maintained.

There is a chap down in the South Island who had one that he sold at 1.2 million kms
The engine had not been opened. i.e original rings etc
Just the usual suspects like cambelts, oil, filters etc
