i have this on my m reg 3 ltr diesel car and the tyres are 265/70/16 i have today gone to fit 5 new tyres but noticed that the spare is a 15 inch wheel 265/70/15
so i need another 16 rim do i not?
any ideas where i could get 1 from?
cheers in advance
at the end of the day................ it gets dark
If you fit a 31x10.5x15 tyre to the 15" rim it will be 1.2% larger then the 16" tyre size you have on the other 4 . This will be OK for a spare to get you home but not recommended for offroad/4x4 use .

I see no prob with that , others may dis agree.
1.2% is nothing to worry about as if you had 2 tyres of same make and size on the same axle but 1 worn to 1.6mm and the other new with 8+ mm on it the difference would be greater then 1.2%but still legal and usable .
