Body lift and tyres

If I give my surf a 1.5 inch body lift can I fit slightly bigger tyres. The tyres at the mo are 265/70/15 On some deerfield rims which are 15/8?

Can anyone tell me the imperial equivelent to these too?

imperial equivelent for the tyre is 31x10.5x15
