while cabbying about 3 years ago, i was gatwick bound on the lovely M25 at 3 am and forgot that the cab i was driving was my dads and not mine (and was not used to going over 70mph!) and his 'for hire' roof light flew off never to be seen again. Not wanting to get one of my old man's infamous lectures for:

      1.speeding

2.speeding in a company marked car

      3. speeding in a company marked car leading to loss of company marked EXPENSIVE roof sign

      4. blahs 1-3 and (and i might add what would have been an important point i wouldn't have poo pooed) could have damaged someone elses car or caused an accident

I decided to lie (don't know why, i am the worlds worst, always get caught and HE always knows instantly).

I told him that someone pinched roof light in the car park at the airport (not uncommon - never trust a cabbie - sorry boys )

trouble is by this point it was light and when he went out to the car he noticed the s$$$$es of the 3 large magnets accross the roof and then the boot of his merc.

      moral(s) of this story:

      do not speed
do not play music so loud you don't hear gradual s$$$$ing followed by bang followed by more s$$$$ing followed by silence
      do not lie to father
do not use f*****g magnets on a moving vehicle-it cost me £412.67 for paint (on the cheap as well!!) and new roof light!!!!!
i swear, it was like that when i got here...
