  • Workshop manual

    Hi folks,

After getting a bill for a new drive shaft, wheel bearing and new front brake pads for £860 I'm thinking of doing any future work myself where possible. Is the a workshop manual that the group recommend for my 95 3.0ltr SSRX?

In the meantime what engine oil do you all use?

    Thanks.

    welcome

I found best place for a manual was Roughtrax - made by a firm called max Ellery & similar to haynes. Doesn't cover every little detail but should give you enough for what you need it for.

I currently use 15/40 Mobil semi synthetic and change it & the filter every 4000 miles. I do about 18000 miles a year in the smurf so use a decent oil.

    hope this helps

I have a 1KZ-TE engine manual available for browsing on my site:

      http://www.showmesome.info/hilux/info/manuals/1KZ-TE/

Note: this is just the engine manual so won't cover stuff like wheel bearings etc.
