  • Sick & Tyred!

    Hi All,

Can I put bigger tyres on my Surf?

The current tyres look very small, they are 26570R15 and look poo!

She has a 2/3 inch lift so would this be ok?

Have a look at the picture and advise me which tyre would look the best please as I am pulling my teeth out!

I have seen some of the Surfs here and some of them have wicked looking boots!

    Thanks!

    Gary

With a 2" suspension and a 1" body lift I'm running 32-11.5-15 BFG AT's on 8" rims. They look much better than standard

          Re

          The BFG AT's look great!

If I was to get these or similar what size should I get?

          Thanks,

          Gary

If its definaly 3" of lift get 32's, otherwise 31's will have to do.

              Re

How do I find out "exactly" what lift I have?

Do you measure from the center of the hub to the arch?

How do you calculate the lift!

BTW, I emailed you Tony to get your address, did you get the email?

              Later!

Haven't seen it yet, try again, we've been swapping our hosting around to Morrs company, and I hadn't set up the email forwarding till today so it may have got lost.

Was that the battery clamp or something else? I'd forgotten who wanted that, and its still sitting here on the desk!

You can measure lift from the top of the wheel (not tyre) to wheel arch opening, 13-14" is standardish for the front if you have 15" wheels.
