    hi guys im new to the site recently bought 94 ssrg 2.4 and when on full lock there is slight grinding on the steering stop lead to belive its a common fault and nowt major is this true and how can i prevent

    VERY common (try the search button at the top of the page!)
    nowt to worry about can pay toyota a small fortune for 4 plastic caps to go on stops, which will wear out anyway, or do like everyone else and grease 'em.
    seriously do a search and you'll get piccies the lot.

              its not just surfs either..yesterday i witnesses a toyota "hi-ace"? (kinda old style people carrier thingy) doing a full locker on a bumpy picnic spot..and you should have heard that baby creak,groan and bang!! turned a few heads too..i'll be doing mine tomorrow, not risking that sort of humiliation..

                YEP did mine todayas advised by better surfers than me ,,,it worked a treat, a blob of Vasaline on each end of the steering stops and magic, all quiet on the western front!.
