  • Help 2.4 very difficult to start when cold

    Hi all,

Hope someone can advise, My 2.4 Surf has become very difficult to sart when its been left overnight or all day, and when it eventually starts loads of smoke.. When the engines warm its fine.

I checked the voltage at the top of the glowplugs today with reading of 10.38VDC. Which I guess suggest I have power to them.

So do the glow plugs need replacing?

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks
    Nick

You may have power to them, but I doubt they're working!!

For the sake of 20 quid, it's worth changing them. Made a big difference to mine.
    It just does, OK?
