If its a 3rd gen, you have struts (colis springs around the shock body) at the front, 2nd gens have torsion bars.

You probably need to get new stock or even lift springs then, normally they cut a coil or two out to lower it.

Count the coils in each spring, or measure their length and see if someone with a 3rd gen can measure theirs to compare.
