need a fuel pump rebuilt urgently

does anybody know who rebuilds fuel pumps in north wales or any where i can send one i need this asap 01766 832405 or if anyone has had it done how much did it cost ? im disabled and without a car so ive got to get it done quick many thanks matt

whats wrong with it? i was quoted between £750 and 1500 for a remove and refit rebuild

My dad has just done the Colorado one and is identical to the KZN185 and also other models of Surf.

I can get him to talk you through the removal and repair if you like - also has the details of a company up by you that can supply all parts cheapish!

(He is based near North Wales too)

He should be OK, I sent the Toyota garage the trucks living at a used pump the other day as costs needed to be kept down.

But post up the parts place, it'll help others.

Yeah,

This one was intermittent for a year or so and kept having to be brought home on transporter and then the other day it just packed up.

Proved the lack of fuel at injector, indicating pump, then testing voltages across the spill control valve indicate problems.(apparently one of the common faults for these just stopping working on the Toy's)

After removal, and about £100 for part, it is back on and running fine, touch wood!
