HI IVE JUST PURCHASED A 3.0L TD SURF 1994 AND I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE ECT , WHEN THE BUTTON IS DEPRESSED I DONT GET A LI GHT ON THE DASH? I HAVE A DONER VEHICLE SO REPLACED THE SWITH AND THE DASH BULB { STILL NO WORK } I HAVE POWER TO THE SWITCH, ANY IDEARS ANYONE,, THE GUY I PURCHASED IT FROM WAS A TIGHT ARSE SO HE MAY HAVE DISSCONNECTED IT , IS THAT POSS?

You'll feel the difference - the truck will go through the gears at thigher revs, you'll take off from lights much quicker, and your fuel guage will move quicker than the spedometer!!! (well thats a bit of an exageration but you do use a lot more fuel!!)
Personally i only use mine if overtaking or towingParanoid? They're out to GET YOU!
