  • Removing fibreglass wheel arch????

    Hello all.
Does anyone have an FAQ or idiot sheet on how to remove the fibreglass wheel arch/flare from the toyota surf?
I have searched but cannot find a thread.
    Thanks in advance

All you need is a 10mm socket / spanner, and a Phillips screwdriver.

      Thanks for the reply Bushwacker.
Is it just the removal of the obvious nuts bolts screws etc or are there some hidden plastic clips behind it?
      Cheers

Nope, no hidden 'surprises', but if you are leaving the arches off, you'll need to replace some of the screws as they hold the plastic wheel arch liners on aswell.
They are mostly self tappers, but a couple of bolts hold the mud flaps on, which are part of the arch extensions.

Most people on remove them on tree stumps, low walls, large rocks etc.
            It's only a hobby!
