  • Anyone running 16 inch rims on a 2nd Gen?

If so, what size tyres have you got on? What mods have you got to help them to fit (lifts, etc.)?

I've been told 255 70 16's will be ok, but 265 70 16's are a bit big. Is this right?

Any help appreciated. I want the biggest tyres I can get, but don't want to buy them if they don't fit! Would be an expensive mistake!!!
    It just does, OK?

my offroading rims are Hilux Steels.
The tyres are Bridgestone Dueler MT's 265x75 R16 and didnt seem to rub offroad... the rims dont stick out very far though.

            Hi,

My truck has got 265/75 r16 bfgoodrich a/t's on. don't think its lifted, but the wheels make it look mean compared to others i've seen. Thr tyre foul the inner arch on full left lock when bouncing over bumps, but that's all. I can get decent tyres too from £69 each!

I think it looks loads better with the big alloys and tyres

            cheers,

            Mart

16" fine on mine! running mud & snow tyres no problem at all, and it gave the truck about an inch lift!

I've just put some 275/70/16's on mine, and they are fine. I've got the narrow body version as well. It mostly depends on the offset of the wheel as to whether the tyres will foul or not.
