gearbox problem

Hi this might be an old question but i cant find anything with the search facility, i have a problem with my gearbox in that the o/d light flashes on and off ,i have had the gearbox oil changed and the filter cleaned but this light still flashes so can anyone tell me what i need to do next before i have to buy anouther gearbox.

Thanks for the info i found some usefull info there. I have arranged to take it to a gearbox specalist tommorow,i will pass on the info to him and just hope he can sort it.

I HAVE THIS PROBLEM OCCASIONALLY BUT THE LINK YOU PUT IN DO'NT WORK

Try a search under FLASHING O/D LIGHT this worked for me . Good luck
