quick question but dont tell anyone!

good evening
as a new owner can i ask a silly question?
the o/d light on my console has come on and i'm not sure how or why??!!
any thoughts?
the manual is in japanese!!

The O/D OFF light? If it's not flashing it simply means you turned the over-drive off. Take a look at your auto box shifter - you should find a button sticking out of the right-hand side. Pushing it back in will turn over drive back on. With over drive off, it essentially prevents the auto box from shifting into top gear.
