noisey engine

my kzn 130 sounds like its got a very noisey cam..........had it all took to bits and all is ok but the top end still seems very noisey.has any one got any clues to what this could be ta...............TOMMY

Could be an injector is knackered.

No, I think you can buy them one at a time.
A reconditoned set of four costs about £70 plus vat from uk cylinder heads.
To test and find out which one is 'ticking', have the engine running while you loosen, but don't remove, the pipe nut on the end of each injector , (do one at a time) and listen for the noise to stop, then you'll have an idea which one to replace.

just a thought make sure its from inside the engine and not just a loose bracket or something
my peugot van had a metallic tick that increased with rpm, took pug dealer hours to find it,..................a bracket under the alternator that held cables away from belts...............
