Hi folks,
Could anybody help with a worrying query.
My wife's car (SEAT INCA CUBE VAN 1.9 diesel) (bought her that to keep my two german shepards with permanent moult syndrome out of my surf
)
broke down today.
The glow plug warning light was flashing and whenever she accelerated the engine cut out.
I eventually rescued her and the dogs and found i could limp home on tick over, but engine would die upon a bit of throttle.
owners hand book does not cover flashing lamp.
initially thought fuel starvation from blocked filter - but filter only changed a few months ago.
I drained the filter bowl to bleed any water, and engine now runs, but lumpy, and light is still flashing.
Oh - the wife (HRH) says she might of accidently put petrol in last fill up -
but has ran for over 100 miles without problems.
I have searched the net for a owners club - and i actually found one - the front page informed me there had been no new posts for over 100 days!!! can't think why lol!!
