engaging 2 wheel drive

got into my hilux but it wont drive in 2 wheel drive?

It may sound a stupid question but is the 2/4wd selector in neutral

This can be a little tricky and can take a few seconds to go into 2 wheel.

You also might have to reverse a few feet as this is what i had to do.
