    I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find the answer so I'm going to ask anyway!

    Can I remove my rear propshaft put the surf in 4 wheel drive and drive about 10 miles using just the front wheels?????

              Yeah, its fine, I drove my pickup around for 2 weeks like this when the rear prop was getting balenced.

              I'd put it in 4wd first though, as the ADD often needs the car to move along to engage, if you take the rear prop off, you'll have to push it!!!

              You're still only driving one axle, so theres nothing to wind up. It'll be a good test of your CV's

                        drove my old hilux pick up around for couple of days with no rear prop, no probs, just felt like there was a bit of under stear.
                        Diesel, like petrol only better
