rear window stuck

my rear tailgate window is stuck in the 'up' position
how can iget it down to see what is the problem
(i'm not very mechanically minded)
anyone in stevenage area can help me?(mechs etc)
i'll pay them for their time

Check that the window lock switch on drivers door is'nt pressed.

Try rear wiper as well as it may not be in the parked position.

i checked all those things i think the motor is working its just stuck

This just happened to me - window completely stuck just made a faint click when I either turned the key or pressed the up down.

Solution: Turn the rear wiper on and then off. Although the rear wiper was parked, it obviously hadn't registered.

How many times is this the problem???
I regularly have to cycle my wiper to make the window go down.

I am on leave as of tomorrow and one of my tasks is to work out the wiring to/from the rear wiper and find the circuit that causes this, then............KILL IT !!

When done I'll report back my findings
