  • seat belts help

    can i fit normal seat belts in rear of my 91 H plate , cos it driving me mad with passengers in back who can't work out who's belt is who's.

    You certainly can, you can even get the parts from Toyota sfar as I know. I say go and look at some newer surfs for sale and see the setup for 3 point rear belts. The same setup can also be seen in 2 door Land Cruisers with rear seats (maybe also 4 door ones too I just spotted them in a 2 door one).

      Can't you just colour mark the belts ?

          I fitted the 3 point belts to my 91 surf some time ago because
          of the kids.
          Ordered them via my local Toyota dealer in Henley,very helpful
          on inports,they needed the chassis no. and the interior code
          took about a week as they had to come from Holland.
          Fitted spot on as there should be provissions for them already
          on your truck, cost was about £150 ish which I felt was worth
          paying for peace of mind.
          Or there are a few people breaking Surfs as long as you can
          find them .
