Holy Radiators Batman!

I've got tiny little holes in the head of my radiator that are only leaking slightly, I've had it to a local radiator specialist who says it's a common fault on Surfs as the quality of the brass in Japan is sh*#e. He says he can build me a new head from scratch and do the full hit (removal build reasembly fluids anti-freeze and all) for around £100. Does anybody have experience of this fault and if this is a reasonable repair and quote?

It's a common fault and just as serious as a leak anywhere else in the cooling system. If the man is willing to build you a new top tank for £100 you should go for it. Just make sure he makes the new top tank low enough that it fits under the bonnet.
