I have a 1996 kzn185 gen 3 surf auto
The transfer actuator is dead
Im trying to figure a way to have controlled 2 or 4wd with centre diff lock off (I don't use the diff lock)
I made a simple wiring loom with relay and dash switch to control the vsv 2 and 4wd switches
the gearstick 4wd button is disconnected
I'm thought if I set the transfer actuator rod in open 4wd that I'd have drive to the rear and switch front add on or off as required
problem is when the actuator rod is set pulled fully out theres only 2wd even switching on 4wd vsv
when the rod is fully in there is no drive at all unless 4wd vsv is switched on
Would anyone know if its an electrical connection i have to change on the gearbox to solve it or something else
