  • Coolant hose repair.

Hi, found a leak coming from the junction of these hoses that’s causing the engine temp to fluctuate.
is there a better fix than cutting it back and reattaching.
I’ve got it booked in for a pressure test later in the wee.

If you can do without the rear heater then replace with two hoses without the T junction pieces. I'll look for part numbers if you post your vehicle details.

Can you confirm that the two smaller hoses go to the rear heater?

I'm not sure where they go, they disappear somewhere but I'll go check. I was just checking for why my temp was fluctuating and found this joint weeping.

I'd say yes; they disappear down underneath the brake cylinder then head rearwards.

I'll send you a PM with a link so you can join and look up part numbers. I can't seem to locate them right now but will keep looking.

I don't see an option for replacing the hoses on the KZN185. It has the normal parts listed on the site. These hoses are available for the LN130 do delete the rear heater but may not be available for the KZN185 unless there is a model that did not have a rear heater.
