Pedders 45mm suspension lift - Brakes tightened up

Hey. I wonder if anyone has come across a brake issue once a 45mm suspension lift has been fitted to a second gen 4runner/surf?

My brake pedal biting point is now really high and over responsive, tight. My mechanic says I may need longer link arms to panhard rod for brake compensator on rear...

Any ideas?
