Rear axle seal

hi guys looking for advice on this.
For the 3rd MOT in a row this seal has failed and is leaking into the brake drum.
Any suggestions as to what’s causing this.

Hi,
Is it certain that the leak is coming past the seal? and not brake fluid? anyway, if it is the oil seal, it sounds like the shaft on which it runs is scored, you might need a different position, or to buy a double lip seal if one is available in that size.

The replacing of the rear axle seals with the RT kit is a fiddly job: it is possible that whoever is doing it for you is not getting it right...Hope you get it sorted.

Worn wheel bearings will cause to seals to fail.
