loose rear view mirror

I bumped the rear view on my 3rd gen whilst cleaning it yesterday, and it seems to have shaken the mirror loose. It now rattles about instead of being good and solid.

Any idea how its tightened up again?

I pulled the little access flap from the light assembly, but cannot see any way to get in there or any way to tighten the post up again.

please help!!

I just bought a 3rd gen surf and i have the same problem, the drivers side mirror is loose and doesn,t fully adjust now.
