    just got me a surf im told there easy to service, is it worth doing it myself or is there a specialist about who doesnt fleece you ?
    any info on self service or cheap mechanic would be greatfully accepted
    also just got a good deal on radio frequncy expander from
    merlin productions(uk) cheltenham ! £15 + pp

    Hi and well done for buying a Surf,
    Oil change is dead easy with full lock on there is access under the wheel arch to the filter, but it is behind a splash cover, and the drain plug is one of the easiest to get at mainly due to the enormous ground clearance.
    Air filter is also a piece of cake, just a couple of clips.
    Fuel filter is a bit hazardous check out the threads on that one, seems there are problems bleeding air from fuel system!
    I could go on but there is loads of info in the Tech section, have fun and await your head going...

        Hi Craig,

        It is easy to do a service as mentioned above.
        You will find a wealth of info here.
        I have sourced parts and Milners are definitely the cheapest.

        You have'nt given any details of your Surf. I may have seen you around town.
