    ok so its the steering stops how do i fix it? ive tried looking in faqs but it wouldnt work for me im not to technicaly minded so i need it in simple instructions many thanks matt

        Originally your Surf would have come with plastic caps over the bolt heads (yellow circle) but these wear away after a while. The accepted method of silencing the things is to cover bolt head and the opposing pad in the thickest, baddest grease you can get hold of. Water pump grease is good if you can any.

          Don't forget there are stops on both sides on each side. So in front and behind, and left and right... 4 stops in total...


          That makes no sense does it...
