  • Rear heater...... doesn't!

There's me showing off to colleagues whilst driving down the m/way,
'If you're cold in the back, just put the heater on.'
'Great,' they said, 'but it's just blowing out cold air!'

Oh dear........ what can the matter be?

Some do, and it was standard on the SSR-G. I've got one.

it has possibly got full of sludge like mine has and what you will need to do is flush it out which means tracing the pipes back to where they come from just below the thermostat and connceting a hose to it and flushing it with water till it comes clean.
so much to do , so little money , so little time

been doing this today, had a hose on it all afternoon all i can get is a drip on one pipe, other one and the heater are clear as a bell. apart from getting a prostate checkup, any ideas what will shift it? i would rather clear the pipe without pushing all that crud round the rest of the system...

Disconnect each pipe at both ends & clear it with a compressor or airline.
Johngee had this problem and i cleared it with a large SYRINGE pushing air through the pipes.

Remove the rear heater & give it a gentle clean as well with the hose.
You'll get lots of sludge coming out.

i reckon it is. might just go and get a few meters of 10mm hose instead...
