Hello, I have 30 inch tyres all round, and my spare is a 265, I have been told that if I get a flat and put the spare 265 on with the 30,s it will damage the surf.
Is this true???

i wouldnt say damage just use it to get you home and stick it on the front so both driving wheels are the same. Thats what I'd do anyhow.

I've driven with 265's and 30/10.5 on the surf to get a tyre fixed with a nail in it. Just keep the speeds down. Big differences I believe could knacker bearings etc...may be wrong on this

Ask them what damage they are talking about presuming you will only use the spare until the puncture is fixed

Just had the same problem(flat tyre and small spare)
It worked ok as a get you home, but handles a bit diffrent
As said keep the speed down(not hard in the surf 2.4)
