  • Brake Light on dash

Noticed a strange phenomenom of late. Maybe need brakes doin or something like that.

Occassionaly if put my foot down on the accelerator and then remove my foot the Brake light flashes on then off in quick succession.

Anyone got ideas as to what it could be and way to fix it.

    cheers

    update - possible fix

found this on the yank forum

Check your brake fluid level. As your pads wear, the level of the fluid in the reservior also drops to push the thinner pads against the caliper/shoes against the drum.

It is likely as simple as topping it off. When was the last time the brakes were checked?

Out to check the fluid levels plus sort change pads when off in february.

As brake pads wear down the fluid level drops. You learn something new everday. The capital of England is E aint that strange.

OH well after pads wearing down and all the off-road jaunts, looks like I missed clearing out some of the mud from when I inspected the pads, and this was triggering the effect
