Front drop arm??

My mechanic tells me my front drop arm needs replacing and it's gonna cost me 150...sound about right? what is a drop arm anyway?

Does he mean the drop link?

£43 a side from toyota for the bits plus an 1.5 hours labour I would guess to swap them both

Ah...not drop arm he means front idler arm?? badly worn apparently. 126 quid special order part.

you can rebuild it with new bushes for about £20, only need to replace the whole thing if the shaft is damaged.
