Get a high pitched whistle when the turbo winds up...i know it spins at a hell of a rate...& its not a bearing noise, it's been there since I had it & it's not got worse. Not excessively loud but noticeable none the less. Is this normal?

Blue ones are a bit flash. Burgundy ones are more refined and have a turbo whistle like a United Counties bus
