the handling when cornering my 1990 surf has recently gone crazy. the truck seems to slide all over the road, feels almost like when you have a soft tyre but i have checked pressures , i have good tread on the tyres as they are only a few month old and i fitted new rear springs six months ago, so could it be shocks?

It could be one of the shocks or just the greasy damp roads of late with rear wheel drive??

Check for worn steering idler bush- mine handled like a boat till I replaced the bushes.
