any body know of dimensions of fixing holes in seat sliders on a 1994 ssrx kzn130, got the option of 2 cheap nearly new recaro seats, but the hole measurements are 28cm back to front, and 40.5cm side by side,
Have a close look at your existing seats. If they're anything like mine the runners are an integral part of the seat so if you get the Recaros you'll need new runners as well. If they are separate runners then go for it - worst case you'll have to make an adaptor plate.
the seats do come with runners and the measurements supplied are the runner fixing points........... sorry i probably didnt make that clear, how easy if not is it to make the adapter plates ????
The usual way of fitting a replacement seat is to use the original runners on the new seat because the shape of the floor is normally the thing which causes a problem. Then it is just a case of making the holes on top of the runners line up with the holes in the base of the seat which can generally be done with a couple of flat plates of some sort. It's more difficult to make runners fit a floor unless you're happy drilling holes in the floor pan.
It might be that someone knows of some after market seat runners that will do the job (I know Recaro don't sell them for a Surf) or you might be able to get some genuine ones second hand (a Surf fitted with Recaros will have the correct seat runners)
