Posted before that i had a leak after taking to the garage i bought it from they eventually said that a power steering hose was faulty and leaking, picked it up and they said that it still had a minute leak from the back of the pump but on driving home and leaving itb to stand there still was oil on the floor . When i bought the surf i took out the warranty with warranty direct and rang them and yesterday booked the surf in ,to cut the story short pas pump renewed , no wonder the original dealer hoped that i would go away the pump cost £275 plus fitting, it cost me the excess on the policy £25 but costs to travel to the supplying dealer and travel home again after leaving the vehicle i think that i am in pocket.
