  • Steering Gear Seal

My steering gear - box has blown a seal where the steering column shaft attaches to the the box. Has anyone got a part no or advice on this problem.

I've just had a look at the EPC and if the seal is the one around the splined shaft going into the box, then this doesn't seem to be listed seperately - it's all one lump. Your best bet might be to remove the offending item and try a local bearing supplier

STIMPY30- Darren our northern mechanic chap told me to add some power steering additive which swells worn seals, so far its working as a temp fix.
