How do you open rear door catches (to shut the door)?

Hi,

I've just taken apart my back door to grease the motor, and used the 'screwdriver technique' to push the door catches from their open to intermediate to closed positions.

Having done the job, I now can't figure out how to return the catches to their original positions - pushing the catch with a screwdriver (in either direction) doesn't seem to do it!

Can anyone help? It's getting dark and I can't close the back door...

Have you tried using the handle as you normally would??????????
