little red button

Hi there, anyone know what the little red button is on next to the auto gear lever console. it has got japanese writting under it. I know its not the crt button or overdrive button..any suggestions...oh yeah it doesnt seem to do anything when pressed!!

It's the ejector button for the nagging seat
