Does anyone know what a "ECT" switch by the handbrake on a 3rd gen is and what does it do?

It's like a sports mode. It holds the truck in each gear for a bit longer. Better accelleration but watch the fuel guage fall!Originally posted by Runner AndyIt's only a hobby!Comment

... and completely pointless IMHO. Get it into a higher gear and use the torque - or is that just a 3 litre trick?
