Resetting ECU

Does anyone know if resetting the ECU via the disconnecting batteries method can cause the truck to run worse when reconnected?

Sounds crazy but i now have rough and low idling like i used to have months ago that magically disapeared when i done my starter motor

If you disconnected it for a period of time it will need to relearn all the sensors and should hopefully improve the longer you drive it.

yea i dunno i fitted a MAF sensor and it idles sooooo low the tach is on the first notch which would suggest 200-300 revs but the tach lies so im not sure, basically its enough that its so quite i think i've stalled at the lights but i haven't and thats with the loud exhaust imagine if i had a civilized one
