Starter Relay same as the glow plug relay?

Having issues with my starter relay - a sharp flick sorts it but it needs replacing. Took a look and it looks like it has the same pinout and form factor as the glow plug relay. Can't find a starter relay anywhere online.

Glow plug relay a tested alternative? Anyone know the Toyota price for the simple single circuit relay?

Different part number than glow relay. Google 28300-54110.

Yeah, it is a different part number for sure. I suspect the glow plug one is higher current rating than the starter solenoid, which might suggest it's interchangeable.

Think I'll just call into toyota to find out the price, but its looking upward of £60 for a damn relay! I just replaced one on one of my other cars which has 16 switched circuits and two coils and that cost me £24 from the dealer.

I priced it at AMayaamamwhatsit and they wanted 25 quid plus shipping and up to 4 weeks wait.

Toyota gets my 54 quid +VAT so I can have it tomorrow. Thieving sods.
