The head cracked in my surf about 6 weeks ago.as i had a good 2lte out of the hilux pickup iv fitted the v8 to sitting in the shed,i decided it was more economical to fit it to the surf as the original engine would need a head,gaskets,rebuild the pump,clutch kit etc etc.the engine is now fitted but the wiring loom on the 2001 model 2lte is a lot simpler than the surfs loom and it also has a mechanical pump(thankfully) my question is,what amount of wires/sensors are needed to run as im using the ecu/emission control unit off the later engine too
